SCHEDULE
9:00 AM - Welcome and Introductions
9:05 AM - Warm-Up and Stretching
9:20 AM - Teach Traditional Pom and Marching Sequence
10:10 AM - Break
10:20 AM - Audition: Traditional Pom & Marching Sequence
11:30 AM - Audition Segment #1 concludes
11:30 AM - Break for Lunch - bring your own snacks, water, lunch
12:00 PM - Warm-Up on your own
12:15 PM - Teach Jazz and Hip Hop Routine
1:00 PM - Break
1:15 PM - Question with the Audition Judging Panel then Perform the Jazz and Hip Hop Routine
4:30 PM Must be out of the ARC no later than 4:30PM due to other events
Once you have completed your question with the judging panel, performed the Jazz and Hip Hop Routine, and have been measured, you are free to leave the ARC. We will not be meeting afterwards or taking a team picture due to a number of conflicts.
ATTIRE
Wear a black sports bra and black dance shorts or black leggings. Wear proper dance footwear. Be sure your hair is styled, fully down or half-up.
Make-up should be performance ready (eyeshadow, lipstick, blush, fake eyelashes, etc.)
You will need to check in at the ARC. They have your name on a list...for UIUC students, bring your i-card
Bring an 8.5 x 11 picture of yourself printed on regular paper - this does not need to be on photo paper - keep it simple
When you are not in the audition room, we will use that time to get you measured for uniforms, shoes, boots, and other Illinettes merchandise.
Announcement of the team will take place via this platform following auditions on Saturday. We will aim to make this announcement as soon as possible.
